Post-doctoral researcher at Centro Nacional de InvestigacionesCardiovasculares (CNIC) in Madrid (since September 2014); B.Sc. in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (Universidad de Zaragoza, 2004), B.Sc in Clinical Psychology (UNED, 2009); Master in Health and Behavioral Sciences Methodology (UNED, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, 2012); PhD in Public Health (VU Medical Center, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, 2014) and PhD in Health Sciences (Universidad de Zaragoza, 2017). Member of GENUD (Growth, Exercise, NUtrition and Development) Research Group (Universidad de Zaragoza) since 2006, with experience in several studies funded by the European Commision (Sixth and Seventh Frame Work Programmes), focusing on childhood obesity prevention and the promotion of healthy habits in European children. Experience abroad between 2012 and 2014 at VU Medical Center Amsterdam(The Netherlands) and Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS GmbH, Bremen (Germany).

Main research lines focusing on 1) lifestyle and childhood obesity, 2) lifestyle and cardiovascular health, 3) Social inequalities and cardiovascular health and childhood obesity and 4) Lifestyle, cardiovascular health and subclinical atherosclerosis, with special focus on developing lifestyle assessment tools as predictors of subclinical atherosclerosis.
